LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 is an professionally-trained American basketball player. The player is referred to as King James and is considered as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has won four NBA Championships as well as four NBA MVP Awards, the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of 2 Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He has the second highest number of career points, and ranks seventh among career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was selected as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. As a total, James participated in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. It was eight in a row from 2011 to 2018. In 2021 James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player to ever in NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points in rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by the media. As a prep-to-pro player, he was picked to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. He was named the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Then he was one of the best athletes of the NBA, winning both the NBA MVP Award in the years 2009 and 2010. James went free agency in 2010, after he failed to secure championships for Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent moves in sports history.
